ABOUT MEGHAN PETRUK

As a Team Lead of the Toronto Blue Jays Activation Team, I am passionate about sports and events management, eager to learn and develop my skills in live events, and love enhancing the fan experience. As a member of this team, I assist with activation set up, management, and tear down of all events throughout the ballpark. I manage teams of activation team members to ensure the efficiency of this process and the success of the events put on at Rogers Centre. I graduated Toronto Metropolitan University with a degree in Creative Industries and a Minor in Film Studies with a specialization in Film, Music, & Live Events management. I have ample events and entertainment experience working with the Oshawa Generals (Game Day Crew), Toronto International Film Festival (Volunteer 2022, Front of House Assistant 2024), the Juno Awards (Volunteer Toronto & Edmonton), and Toronto Metropolitan University (Student Learning Centre - Senior Student Specialist).I am an active volunteer with my local softball league, Whitby Girls Softball Association. I coach pitching year-round for girls ages 10-24, and during the summer months I coach a softball team. I also serve as a member of our Board of Directors, managing sponsorships & uniforms, trophies & prizing, and volunteer recruitment. In past years I have also convened our U11 division, assisted with our skills day, banquets, and select level tournaments.
