Currently on a long-term (embedded) research assignment @ Google via AnswerLab, leading quantitative UX research to optimize key user metrics; assisting on other projects as needed- Promoted to Sr. Quantitative UXR from Quantitative UXR in 2024- Perform rapid, high impact, end-to-end Quantitative UX research (~3-6 week sprints) that directly contributes to current / future products and services- Design and analyze large-scale UX experiments (e.g, A/B/n, prototype logs, multifactorial, survey intercepts, etc.) to measure and assist in optimizing key user metrics- Lead studies from design to insight delivery; creating briefs, surveys, and reports in collaboration with UXDs, UXEs, and Qual/Quant UXRs- Specialized in advanced statistics and data wrangling / visualization on large datasets (range 4k - 250k participants) using R- Build automated R functions for large-scale data processing, analysis, and visualization, enabling faster insights and decisions- Develop studies that use classic psychological designs to assess and improve user metrics- Program complex multi-factorial surveys with logic, piping, and hotspots; using JavaScript, HTML and Figma as needed- Apply advanced predictive multivariate, regression, SEM, and causal inference techniques to uncover key variables- Text mine open ends to analyze sentiment / themes, providing quant insights from qual survey responses- Wrangle logs data and perform click path analysis and visualization- Conduct meta-analyses to synthesize cross-study trends- Qual support, e.g, thematic analysis of session recordings, distilling pain points into actionable themes- Helped build and maintain UX metrics and ops dashboards- Peer review colleagues’ work and assist in upskilling in R coding, statistics, and AI-driven workflows- Via rapid high-impact research, helped successfully launch numerous major online experience innovations that many use today.
