About Michael Digruccio
I am a firm believer that aesthetics and function go hand in hand. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Graphics Communications. I am fully certified in SOLIDWORKS and CREO with a strong understanding of GD & T. In my free time I work on my self-built 3D printers and contribute to open-source 3D printing projects. I strive to incorporate my knowledge of product design, industrial design, and prototyping whenever applicable.Outside of work I freelance as an Industrial Designer and Product Designer. Commissions let me experience direct client interactions where I create concepts and products to satisfy customer expectations and needs. I have worked through the full product design process on a variety of projects, including the initial ideation, prototyping, and design for manufacturing.
