About Moury Bidgoli

Moury has been with Accenture since 2022 and is currently a cyber intelligence analyst in the Americas market unit (MU) within Accenture Cyber Intelligence (ACI). Over the course of her Accenture career, Moury has produced intelligence reports covering significant cybercrime related advertisements shared by threat actors on dark web forums, monitored alerts about client-specific assets being discussed or advertised on the dark web, and created reports pertaining to client assets and resources that may have been compromised and advertised on the dark web. Using her accumulated dark web expertise, she has also trained analysts and helped build the dark web assessment service in the Americas MU. Moury received her B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society with a minor in Digital Information Systems along with her M.S. in Informatics from the University of California, Irvine. Moury then went on to receive her Ph.D. in Informatics from the Pennsylvania State University. Moury\'s academic research focused on better understanding end user\'s cybercrime reporting behaviors, how current cybercrime reporting processes can be improved to encourage end users to report, and to find effective ways to promote awareness about cybercrimes and cybercrime reporting. Moury has conducted cybercrime research for nearly a decade and lectured on the topic as well. On her free time, Moury enjoys going to the movies, spending time with her family, and practicing hot yoga.
