I’m a purpose-driven professional with over a decade of experience leading transformative initiatives in sustainability, environmental governance, and humanitarian operations across Brazil, the U.S, and Canada. My work is rooted in the belief that environmental stewardship and human well-being go hand in hand — and that organizations thrive when their practices are ethical, inclusive, and future-focused. With a strong track record in socio-environmental governance, program leadership, and risk management, I turn complexity into clarity and challenges into long-term value. Whether managing disaster response strategies, restoring UNESCO heritage sites with Indigenous communities, or advancing cross-border compliance, I deliver results that serve both people and the planet. Core Strengths Strategic Sustainability Leadership: As National Coordinator for Emergency Management at the Canadian Red Cross, I led initiatives combining risk reduction, resilience, and environmental compliance. Multisectoral Collaboration: I’ve united governments, communities, and partners to align priorities, unlock funding, and scale sustainable impact. Operational Excellence: I drive performance monitoring, compliance, and impact analysis for complex programs using LEAN principles and tools like GIS, EMIS, SharePoint, and Citrix. Mentorship & Capacity Building: Through ECO Canada’s EFTD program, I mentor emerging professionals on systems thinking, sustainable development, and inclusive leadership. Signature Achievement I contributed to a $5.5M restoration project on First Nation land, combining Indigenous knowledge and GIS to restore prairies, reintroduce bison, and protect a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It became a model for inclusive, sustainable development. Creative Contribution Alongside my professional work, I’m an author. My books — Color and Quiet, The Feelings That Color My World, and Lumi in the Garden of Emotions — help young readers explore emotions, wonder, and empathy. Rooted in field experience, these books support emotional intelligence in children aged 4–8 and are embraced by educators and caregivers across cultures.
