Provides technical assistance to Assembly Process line and Engineering work group in support of projects and manufacturing goals.• Assisting Quality Engineers as liaison between Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering relative to customer specifications, customer quality requirements, and customer problems. • Identify and record any product, process, and quality system problems.• Implementing statistical methods and establishing in control and capable processes through the development of process flows, fishbone diagrams, FMEA’s, and control plans. • Develop and implement quality procedures, quality plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans and continuous improvement initiatives. • Working on conducting system, product, process audits, calibration and material review.• Monitor all manufacturing processes through audits and daily evaluations to ensure that processes are being followed. • Identify and record present or potential conditions that effect product, process line and initiate corrective or preventive actions. • Taking part in problem solving and root cause analysis• controlling or stopping further processing of product until corrective action has been satisfactorily implemented.• Utilize quality problem solving techniques (8D, 7-Step, 5Why, Is/Is Not, Kaizen,)• Reviews scrap and repair work to pinpoint problems and recommend corrective action to minimize scrap thereby improving plant profit.• Actively engage with operations in Poke-Yoke implementation and verification activity on the production lines.
