Moses Kodur is an Application Scientist at Surface Optics Corporation (SOC) in Rancho Bernardo, CA. In this role, he utilizes SOC\'s cutting-edge instrumentation to advance the development and manufacturing of innovative materials across industries, including aerospace, defense, solar energy, and environmentally sustainable solutions like cool roofing and pavements. Leveraging a strong technical background, Moses provides expert consultation and support to SOC\'s extensive customer network while driving the design and development of new instruments that enhance SOC\'s offerings for the thermal management and optics communities.Moses earned his Ph.D. in 2022, defending his thesis titled \"Addressing the Instability and Improving the Commercialization Prospects of Perovskite Photovoltaics Through a Layer-by-Layer Approach.\" His research contributions include 13 peer-reviewed publications and numerous conference presentations, conducted under the mentorship of Dr. David Fenning (graduate) and Dr. Ying Shirley Meng (undergraduate).In addition to his work at SOC, Moses shares his passion for science as an instructor for introductory physics labs at Point Loma Nazarene University.
