ABOUT MOSES YOMI

Moses Yomi has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing and grants management. As an assistant vice president at the American Council on Education, Moses is responsible for grants and contract operations, cash management, budgeting, financial reporting, accounting and payroll. In the past, Moses provided compliance and financial management training to ACE’s university partners both within the United States and abroad. Before joining ACE in 2007, Moses worked as an audit manager with a CPA firm in Washington, DC, concentrating on audits of federal agencies and non-profit organizations. He also worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Program Integrity as a consultant for eight years, where he reviewed cases related to alleged misuse of NIH grants and contract funds, grantee and contractor conflict of interest, improper employee conduct and violations of grant or contract regulations by grantees or contractors. Moses holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southeastern University, Washington, DC, and a master’s degree in Administration Management (Accounting) from Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland. He is currently pursuing his doctor of business administration (accounting) degree at Liberty University. Moses is a certified public accountant, a certified government financial manager, and a chartered global management accountant. Moses has experience with PeopleSoft Financial, Great Plains, Peachtree and Microsoft Office.
