ABOUT MOSES
Public health expert with 20+ years of experience managing and advising on large-scale health programs across Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, with a focus on HIV, TB, health systems strengthening, health system integration. Until July 2025, I served as a Senior Health Advisor at USAID, where I provided technical leadership to PEPFAR-supported programs in Tanzania.I have a multidisciplinary background in clinical care, public health, research and program management, and have held senior technical leadership roles at other organizations supporting global health programing. Other roles have included Country Director, Clinical Advisor, and Technical Lead across diverse settings—including Uganda, Guyana, Malawi, Tanzania, and the United States. My work has involved supporting Ministries of Health, strengthening local partner capacity, and advancing policies and programing that promote equitable, sustainable health outcomes.Skilled in clinical and operations/implementation science research and managing donor-funded programs. I’ve worked with and on project funded by U.S. government agencies (CDC, USAID), international NGOs (FHI 360), US based Universities (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersy UMDNJ and the University of Washington) and multilaterals (Global Fund). I have advised Ministries of Health and provided capacity building for civil society organizations, and academic partners to design, and implement high-impact programs and research projects
