ABOUT KIM MORROW

As Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Lincoln, I am working to transition our community to a climate-smart future. I lead or coordinate a wide array of decarbonization and climate resilience initiatives that aim to make our community more equitable, bolster our economy, improve environmental health, and make Lincoln an even better place to call home. For 15 years I have worked in many sectors to address climate change, including local government, business, non-profit, higher education, and faith-based organizations. As a consultant, I led several climate action and strategic planning processes to help cities and organizations achieve carbon emissions reduction goals. I was honored at the Obama White House in 2015 as a “Champion of Change” for my efforts on climate change with faith communities. From 20••••19 I was named as one of Lincoln’s 30 Most Influential Women by the Lincoln Journal Star. I serve on the boards of The Nature Conservancy, the Midwest Climate Collaborative, the Nebraska Clean Cities Coalition, and our local District Energy Corporation. My Gallup strengths are Learner, Achiever, Relator, Intellection, and Developer.
