ABOUT MORRIS JACOBS
Morris has served the utility industry as a management consultant for almost forty years. He has supported electric, gas, water and telecommunications companies, and his projects have spanned virtually all utility industry business units, including generation, transmission and distribution, meter to cash, and support services. Morris has worked with executive teams on corporate strategy and “balanced scorecard” performance management, and he has worked with union and non-union field level employees to help them identify and implement improvement opportunities. He has served as an expert witness on financial and economic matters and on the ratemaking process. He has served in various roles for information system implementation including the management of functional requirements development, vendor selection and detailed design. He has supported risk management teams in better embedding risk management thinking in daily decision-making and has supported the development efforts for enhanced ESG reporting and associated business controls for data collection and reporting.
