As a Kumon Assistant Instructor, my responsibilities include: Assisting students “from reception to GCSEs” with their homework and projects, ensuring they understand instructions, and providing encouragement. Using interactive teaching methods like role-playing, games, and discussions to keep students motivated and engaged. Organising and managing lesson plans, assignments, and materials, and tracking student progress through data collection of each student. Offering personalised attention through a specialized curriculum tailored to each child\'s unique needs and interests. Cultivating a welcoming environment for students to ask questions, share opinions, and provide feedback. Tutoring in subjects such as English, Math, Science, reading, and writing. Communicating student progress to parents and helping them develop strategies for at-home learning support. Creating effective learning plans by understanding each student\'s strengths and weaknesses. Grading and preparing classwork and homework, marking and recording worksheets, and handling worksheet packing. Supporting students in following the Kumon Method and centre procedures while providing excellent customer service to students and parents.
