After a 30 year career in the civil service, having received medical retirement in 2014 due to an industrial injury, I became a volunteer reiki therapist at Marie Curie Hospice in 2016. The positive feedback I receive has encouraged me to set up a therapy room in my home and offer the service to a wider community.Reiki and spiritual healing involve similar enegies to provide a very deep relaxation experience that works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. All you have to do is lie back in the relaxing environment and allow the gentle music and healing energies to permeate your being. I gained my reiki practitioners qualification in 2001 and spiritual healing qualification in 2002, which requires two years supervised probationary work and study.
