My practice covers all major areas of German and EU competition law (cartels, merger control, dominance, supply agreements, licences, cooperation agreements etc.). I have conducted internal investigations in Europe, China and in Saudi Arabia and have assisted to set up compliance structures. I have also worked on numerous State aid cases. I am advising clients from many different industry sectors such as retail, transport, utilities, pharmaceutical, chemical, electrical equipment, energy and steel.During a secondment to the Beijing office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer I gathered some experience with Chinese competition law, in particular with Chinese merger control. I was also seconded to the firm’s IP/IT practice group to work on cases at the interface of IP and competition law.
