Team Lead – Grid Connection EngineeringLeading the grid connection engineering team (2 FTE) and reporting to Managing Directors. Responsible for establishing and scaling the grid connection function for utility-scale wind, PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) up to Ready-to-Build stage.Accountable for technically robust and economically optimized grid connection concepts across MV, HV and EHV levels in coordination with DSOs and TSOs.Core responsibilities:• Technical leadership and coordination with DSOs (VNB) and TSOs (ÜNB)• Interface management with manufacturers (substations, transformers, wind/PV inverters, protection systems) and external planners• Preparation of grid connection documentation (single-line diagrams, layout plans, protection and operating concepts)• Grid studies including load flow, short-circuit (DIN EN 60909), selectivity, voltage drop and harmonics assessment in compliance with VDE-AR-N 4110 / 4120 / 4130• Cable dimensioning and thermal design according to DIN VDE Definition of grid connection topology and integration of wind, PV and BESS into overall plant design• Engineering delivery to construction-ready levelAdditionally responsible for:• Development and programming of a financial evaluation model for BESS (green storage, arbitrage, ancillary services)• Technical-economic optimization of connection variants with direct impact on project business cases• Establishment of standards, templates and structured engineering processesObjective: building a scalable, economically driven and technically resilient grid connection organization.
