About Mori Taheripour

You don’t think of yourself as negotiating. But every day, you are. In conversations with yourself, with the people you care about, and in the moments where something is at stake, you’re making choices, setting boundaries, and deciding what you’re willing to accept. In other words, you’ve done this before. I’ve spent more than two decades helping people navigate some of the most consequential conversations of their lives. What I’ve learned is that the most effective negotiators aren’t performing. They’re unapologetically authentic. That belief is at the heart of my work, and it’s what led me to write Bring Yourself, where I explore how connection shapes the way you negotiate and show up in the moments that matter. I teach negotiation at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where I’m a 12-time award-winning faculty member. Through my work with leaders across organizations like Google, the NFL, and Goldman Sachs, I help people approach conversations with greater confidence and intention, grounded in an understanding of their value and their voice. Bring Yourself: How to Negotiate Fearlessly expands on this work and invites you to rethink what negotiation can be, not something reserved for high-stakes deals, but something you’re already doing every day. My work and perspective have been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, in ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary Broke, and across a wide range of podcasts, live events, and media platforms. I share more of what I’m thinking about, along with recent work and what I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to in my monthly newsletter. Subscribe here: https://bit.ly/47tusLv

I teach negotiation as a human experience grounded in self-awareness, connection, and choice.Negotiation isn’t limited to formal deals. It shows up in everyday conversations, in the boundaries you set, and in how you advocate for what matters to you.At the center of my work with undergraduate, MBA, and executive education students is the belief that connection shapes how you negotiate. When you engage with others in a genuine way, you can show up as your authentic self and move through conversations with clarity and confidence.• 12-time Excellence in Teaching Award recipient • Co-founder, Wharton Sports Business Initiative (WSBI)
