About Morgan Wells

Hi! I am a graduate student at the University of North Texas studying to become CPA eligible in August 2024 and receive my master’s degree in Taxation & Data Analytics in December 2024. During my time in university, I have consistently made either the President’s List or the Dean’s List. Outside of class, I am actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi at UNT and served two semesters as Treasurer. In my leadership position I have been able to develop my collaboration and leadership skills while working alongside my peers. My position as treasurer also allowed me to explore real-world applications of what I’ve learned in the classroom. I was responsible for filing our taxes annually, as well as budgeting our finances to plan for upcoming semesters. Apart from that, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my Border Collie named Jake. My prior work experience as a server has helped me strengthen my soft skills such as time management and customer service abilities. As an aspiring CPA, my career goals are to complete my exam requirements to become a full-time tax consultant. I fully intend for my efforts in school, extracurriculars, and previous jobs to follow me into the public accounting industry where I can work with clients and forge positive relationships in my daily life.
