About Morgan Rayphole

I am a second year Juris Doctor candidate at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. l just recently graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2024 with a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on taxation, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I was a member of Group 31 in the Professional Program in Accounting, a joint 5-year degree plan. In the legal field, I was previously a summer associate at Bracewell LLP and gained experience in their corporate tax group, bankruptcy group, and public finance group. Some of my notable work at Bracewell was gained working with nonprofits and bond issuances. Looking forward, I will be a summer associate at Sidley Austin for the 2026 summer!In the accounting field, I completed an internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Private Tax Group, where I gained experience in client-facing roles while simultaneously learning the intricacies of partnership, C-corporation, and S-corporation tax structures. Additionally, I gained experience in internal audit in the financial service sector during an internship with Charles Schwab, where I assisted in evaluating controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In my free time, I enjoy climbing mountains in the Colorado wilderness, summiting 17 out of 58 peaks; reading works published by prominent female authors, such as Jane Austen, Maya Angelou, and Louisa May Alcott—as well as more current fantasy publications by Sarah J. Maas; and multifaceted exercise including running, pickleball, and softball.
