About Morgan Patton Pancoast
Right after college, I moved to New York to pursue my childhood dream of being an actress. There, I had to work multiple \"survival jobs\" in customer service to pay the rent and keep the lights on. I found that my mental and physical well-being was deeply affected by how each organization I worked for was led and run. When I no longer had the stamina or passion for acting to face the constant rejection of being a struggling actor, I realized I wanted to be able to truly help people. I knew I wasn\'t going to save people\'s lives by becoming a doctor, but I realized that I could help people\'s mental health by improving their workplace experiences. My career has taken me across workplace operations, HR, learning & development, and large-scale project and program management, but the common thread has always been the same: creating environments where people can do their best work and actually enjoy being there.I started in hospitality and workplace services, where I learned that employee experience is multifaceted. Since then, I’ve led complex, multi-million-dollar programs, designed learning experiences, supported recruiting and employee relations, and partnered with leaders to improve how teams operate and connect.Today, I sit at the intersection of people, operations, and culture. I’m just as comfortable zooming out to think about employee experience strategy as I am rolling up my sleeves to build onboarding programs, streamline processes, manage vendors, adapt workplace facilities, or bring a workplace to life through thoughtful events and day-to-day operations.I’m especially drawn to creative, mission-driven, and fast-growing environments where culture aligns with the work, mission, and values. I love stepping into ambiguity, bringing structure to what’s undefined, and building systems that scale without losing the human element. At the end of the day, I care about creating workplaces that feel clear, connected, and energizing for the people in them and the work they produce.
