About Morgan Lee
I\'m a dynamic behavioral scientist with over 15 years of research and evaluation experience across a wide range of behavior, health, digital health, and health care topics. A self-proclaimed measurement nerd, I enjoy psychometric work and am a strong research methodologist, using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods designs. I believe that every dataset has a story to uncover, and I\'m a skilled communicator who is passionate about translating complex concepts into digestible insights and producing engaging deliverables for various audiences. My academic background spans across experimental and clinical psychology, public health (social marketing concentration), and exercise science. I began my career in academia with research focuses in psycho-oncology, physical activity, and obesity (including weight bias and stigma), and I served as a tenure track faculty member at the University of Colorado. My academic research resulted in over a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and nearly two dozen national and international conference presentations. In industry, I\'ve held roles including Senior Research Scientist at a health communications firm and Behavioral Science Consultant for various clients including a medical weight loss provider and a behavior change app company. My work has resulted in various research deliverables that have been used to shape or improve products and services, achieve business goals, provide critical information to stakeholders, and support behavior change. I\'m currently the Vice President of Research and Marketing at Pharmaceutical Strategies Group, where I lead market and product research, bespoke research for clients, and marketing efforts to generate insights and solve problems in the pharmacy benefit space.I\'m an advocate of health equity, human-centered design, cross-functional collaboration, and balancing science and research best practices with business needs.
