About Morgan Chall
Law student and business-minded legal professional with demonstrated experience at the intersection of law, business, sports, and entertainment. I bring a strong foundation in contract analysis, corporate governance, and value-driven strategic assessment, informed by both legal training and graduate-level business education. My leadership experience includes serving as the first female student-athlete member of the NCAA Division I Board of Directors and as Chair of the Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where I supported Division I governance and national policy initiatives, including historic Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) reform and COVID-19 decision-making. In this role, I developed practical experience in stakeholder negotiation, institutional decision-making, college athlete advocacy, and consensus building at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.I hold a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University, where I developed strong business acumen in strategy, organizational leadership, financial decision-making, and risk analysis, with a focus on the sports industry.I am also a published author in USA Today, guest lecturer at institutions including my alma mater Cornell University, guest on several podcasts and radio shows, and keynote speaker. In July 2020, I founded Chall Sports Consulting LLC, where I lead hands-on experience managing client relationships and advisory services for prospective college athletes and startups across sports, music, and entertainment. Currently pursuing a J.D. at UC Irvine School of Law, with plans to sit for the California Bar Examination in July 2026.
