For years, research has shown direct correlation between workplace productivity and individual health and wellness. It’s obvious healthy employees make better employees. Because almost all work in our society is a co-operative venture, employee relationships are crucial. Healthy employee relationships are not only important to the individual, but also to the organization and team with which they work. No matter the industry or type of employment, relationships between coworkers, supervisors, and the organization demonstrate and predict company success and, in fact, their positive contribution to society. Organizations demand commitment, performance, quality, efficiency, and improvement, but these cannot be achieved without employee connectedness and trust. Simply changing the environment in which these interactions take place, shape the development of a more diverse, connected, and effective business team. By having health and wellness as a priority within an organization, team members will learn how to combine individual perspectives and unique strengths, build trust and have open communication. Team members will grow to take healthy risks, support one another, and share a greater sense of ownership for the company they work for together. This new intersection of fitness and business can change the way business is conducted and increase productivity and profits.My goal is to serve the community better by providing a stimulus for healthy change, whether it is through personal training, real estate, or both!
