I am building the Analytical function for BBC Studios Ad Product team; as the first data hire in this space, I have implemented fundamental change to the teams decision making processes through the provision of at-your-fingertips data. Working with a centralised data platform team of engineers, I have navigated the bureaucratic tape whilst allowing my stakeholders to experience data and insights at speed. My team is growing as we ramp up our capabilities.

ABOUT MORGAN RICHARDSON
I am a Lead Data Analyst at BBC Studios, working specifically on improving the commercialisation of the BBC outside of the UK. I\'m an experienced builder of Analytics functions (3 teams so far). I enjoy that moment when an analyst or stakeholder sees their data in a way that they can understand; you can see the lightbulb spark in their mind. Great analytics sparks entirely new conversations that would never have otherwise happened. Great analysts get people excited about data. Trust me, it\'s a lot harder than it sounds.In the past I worked for Amazon Prime Video on a whole range of teams including content & marketing analytics before going on to build my first Analytics functions for the payment success team. Six years of service taught me an awful lot about what it takes to be a great analyst; working with some of the best in the industry I was able to develop all the skills I needed to grow. After that, I joined a start up called LandTech as their first ever data hire and built their data and analytical structure from the ground up. I grew a team and worked tirelessly to bring data into every decision making process that the C-Suite team made.
