When I was 15, I completed a 71km mountain bike race called The Cheakamus Challenge. And as any 15-year old boy would—I did it with zero preparation.While I was racing, After the first 10km I thought about quitting approximately every 5 minutes. But despite the mental and physical fatigue, lack of proper hydration, a near PowerBar overdose (hello, sugar), and a little bit of 15-year-old-boy-arrogance, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen.Now, I put that perseverance to work as the Head of Customer Success for Appreciation Engine.
