I hold a Bachelor\'s of Science in Biology with a molecular Biology concentration, from the College of Charleston Honors College. I am applying to medical school in hopes to pursue a career in medicine with a focus on serving underserved and minority populations. I believe my role in science is to promote equal health care rights for all and emphasize bettering the quality of medical care received by minorities. During my gap year, I am open to opportunities to provide me with an more one-on-one patient care, entry level healthcare, and/or research opportunities, and doctoral mentorship.
