I joined the specialist Financial Lines Claims & Technical team at Howden in May 2024. My role involves contract reviews for construction clients, focusing on professional indemnity (PI), as well as claims advocacy for our Insured across various professions and policy types. I work closely (but not exhaustively) with Surveyors, Solicitors, Accountants and Actuaries, across PI, D&O, PL and Management Liability policies. The Bristol Claims & Technical team plays a key role in Howden\'s efforts to become a market leader in thought leadership. In this context, my responsibilities have included drafting and publishing articles on contract management for construction professionals, alongside recording a two-part podcast series on the Defective Premises Act. In addition, I regularly deliver client-facing professional development sessions in light of the above.
