ABOUT MORGAN NYERICK
I’m a creator, storyteller, and dreamer-of-big-dreams. Entrepreneurship is in my DNA, and my grandparents on both sides of the family ran businesses, including a music shop, restaurant, and jewelry store. I carried on the family tradition at the age of 18 when I opened a tiny yoga studio named “Bloom.” It soon grew into a very BIG yoga studio-winning Best in Connecticut for two consecutive years and leading to several other business endeavors, including an upscale organic spa, a wellness co-op, and a freelance graphic design company. My decade and a half of small business ownership gave me an invaluable, hard-knocks education in brand development, marketing, design, and creative problem-solving. I am passionate about finding and telling meaningful stories, building memorable brands, creating interesting designs, and leaving this world a more beautiful place than I found it. Currently, I\'m supporting the economic growth of the small, mighty state of Connecticut as Creative Director at the Department of Statewide Marketing and Tourism. A few of my favorites.
