As a member of the Army World Class Athlete Program, I’ve been able to train wrestling full time while on active duty, with the objective of winning world and Olympic medals. In Nov. 2023 I won the military world championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. With over 20 years of wrestling experience, I’ve learned how to win, to fail and learn from failure, to set goals and pursue them, to be coachable, to lead by example, to never stop learning, to prioritize effort, and many other skills that I’m confident I can apply in any profession.
