I’m a MEL professional who thrives on integrating innovative, participatory methodologies to drive meaningful program and organizational outcomes. With a strong background in research, I recognized the gap between social science research focused on Western, English-speaking populations and practitioners in the Global South, where evidence is often not directly relevant to their programs. I view MEL as a powerful tool to address this challenge and ensure programming is created with, not just for, the communities we support. I’m dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and embedding data-driven decision-making within teams. I enjoy using liberating structures, data visualization, and hands-on MEL training to make data accessible and truly valuable - moving beyond it being a mere box to check for donors. My approach centers on meeting people where they are, learning from their experiences, and helping teams use data to drive continuous improvements.
