About Morgan Ellis
I’m a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and a Certificate of International Business. I have experience across procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics coordination, and team leadership. I’ve worked in environments ranging from healthcare and energy to ministry and customer service, which has shaped me into someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence. In my most recent role as a Purchasing Specialist at HealthPoint, I managed the procurement of medical and office supplies for 14 clinics. I evaluated vendor quotes, tracked order fulfillment, and consolidated purchasing across 40+ vendors to drive cost efficiency and ensure reliable supply. I enjoy creating clarity out of complexity and using data-informed decisions to improve processes. Previously, I served as a Global Strategic Sourcing Intern at Halliburton, where I analyzed a bill of materials of more than items and assessed over $6M in annual spend within the Cementing Additives category. I collaborated closely with internal stakeholders and the global sourcing team to identify opportunities for cost savings and to support end-to-end sourcing initiatives. My earlier roles strengthened my leadership and communication skills. As a Summer Associate at Second Baptist Church, I coordinated ministry events, improved administrative workflows, and supported student engagement. At Chick-fil-A, I learned how to perform under pressure while delivering consistent, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. I’ve also held multiple leadership roles at Texas A&M. As a Student Leader for the Europe Marketing Study Abroad program, I assisted faculty with logistics and served as a liaison for a group of 80 students across several countries. In Christian Business Leaders, I organized large-scale parent and alumni events, managed a committee of 17, and supported fundraising that enhanced programming for more than 100 members. Through Aggie Supply Chain Professionals and Impact Retreat, I’ve continued to build industry knowledge and strengthen team coordination skills. Across every role, I aim to lead with integrity, communicate clearly, and deliver results that make operations smoother and more efficient.
