About Morgan Dicarlo
Morgan DiCarlo earned her Ph.D. in civil engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s in biological systems engineering from Virginia Tech, with research focused on water use analysis and hazard management. She completed a selective Science, Policy and Technology fellowship with the American Association for the Advancement of Science hosted at the US Environmental Protection Agency. Morgan is a highly involved advocate for STEM outreach, including as a TEDx speaker, museum volunteer, and as one of America’s New Faces of Civil Engineering in 2024. She is a licensed professional engineer (PE).
