ABOUT MORGAN BRYCE

For those that love both classic rock and consider themselves Deadheads like me, the passage \"What a long, strange trip it\'s been\" from the band\'s acclaimed hit Truckin\' would be an apt way to describe my life and career experiences. I was born with an innate desire to help others, and after determining that nursing was not the path intended for me, I chose journalism, at the behest of my grandmother. In August 2016, I became the third generation of the Bryce Family to obtain a degree from Auburn University, and joined what was then called the Opelika Observer as their staff reporter. Within four short years, I went from student intern to editor, and helped oversee operations one of the state\'s most widely circulated and subscribed-to weekly newspapers. One of my assignments took me to cover council meetings in Smiths Station, AL, where I quickly bonded with the administration and staff. They extended me an offer to become both the administrative and communications assistant, and in May 2020, I dipped my toes into the world of municipal government. Due to changes and growth within the first few months of my arrival, I ascended to the role of interim city clerk in January 2021, later becoming the full-fledged city clerk in May. I not only served as secretary for the city\'s four meeting bodies, but helped oversee daily operations on the Mayor\'s behalf as well as assisted other department heads with concerns and issues as necessary. It was a very hands-on type job, and I made deep connections with both citizens and members of the local delegation that represented the city at the Montgomery Statehouse. In September 2023, I switched industries and joined Kysor Warren Epta US as the communications manager in their marketing department, the role I currently hold today. At the direction of the country marketing manager, I am responsible for the following- Coordinate both internal and external corporate communications for Kysor Warren\'s H.R. and marketing departments- Maintain the company website and various social media platforms- Collaborate closely with other departments on various marketing projects to include both video and website developments- Assist the sales team with registration and attendance at various trade shows, which includes deployment of marketing materials as needed- Schedule Kysor Warren\'s product advertising in various industry publications- Attend various events and tradeshows on behalf of Kysor Warren and distribute marketing materials as needed.
