About Morgan Borel
I will graduate with a Bachelor of Interior Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in August 2023. I currently work at an internship at db Architecture of Acadiana, who has provided my understanding of government, university, and commercial projects. I look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of the public through design, I will begin the process of becoming NCIDQ and WELL certified this October, Through these certifications I hope to secure a career in interior design, so that I could move as well as a practice abroad after many years of experience. Using design, I would like to have a positive influence allowing the public to feel calm and safe. Other design components I would like to focus on are environmentally sustainable and universal design. My position as President of the ULL Campus Center Delta Regional chapter of IIDA has allowed me to explore skills in leadership and understanding how to work with volunteers. When I’m not working, I enjoy working out or staying home with my cats and play video games, recently I have picked up cooking as well as dancing. After school I would like to pick learn a new language, explore the world through travel, and spend more time outdoors hiking.
