ABOUT MORGAN WIETECHA

As a self-proclaimed \"nerd\" I always love learning new things! In each of my jobs I have learned about myself & specific aspects of the job that I enjoy most. I love using InDesign and hope to expand into more Adobe Suite programs. I have OCD so attention to detail and consistency are priorities for me! Another fun fact: I go by my middle name (Morgan)!Let\'s step back and I\'ll explain how I got here. I have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Animal Science, yet most of my jobs are communications related. I grew up raising livestock as part of 4-H in central Illinois and my original plan was to become a livestock veterinarian, but plans change. I decided I wanted to branch into communications; in college I took some communications and leadership courses to bolster my knowledge in those areas.I recently took some time to reflect on my past jobs and realized what I enjoyed most about each of them was the event planning aspect. This also carries over into my volunteer activities as the Cass County Pageant Director. I love being able to see something from conception to completion, looking at the big picture but also the small details that help everything come together. As much as I love having a plan (and hoping all goes accordingly), you must always be prepared for something to throw that off and be flexible to make a change so that the audience never knows anything was amiss.I also enjoy managing social media and doing content creation. Social media is a fantastic way to advertise and get out there with a low budget (which I have had to deal with on multiple occasions).
