ABOUT MORGAN BARDON
I am currently working as a Global Project Manager for Dell EMC as part of the Global Services Engineering team supporting our Technical Support teams. The role of the Project Manager within Dell is focused on providing world-class operational and customer information to our internal customers and organization via delivery of tools and services in association with our IT delivery teams.Working in the PM role has helped me to bring leadership skills into my profile and helped drive me towards being a person manager. I enjoy helping others to accomplish their goals knowing that they are also progressing in their careers. As a remote worker I have found that I tailor my work and meetings around building a presence and achieving the most out of each phone or video call. I am the Ireland lead for the DellEMC remote workers employee resource group and follow its belief that \"out of site should not be out of mind\".I have worked in IT since 1994, but have had a passion for computers since the early 1980\'s when we got our first home computer (a Texas Instruments TI994/A), and learned how to program in BASIC and develop games via books and trial and error.Outside of work I love spending time with my family, running, photography, and most recently started a podcast series on my experiences of working from home.Technical Skills:Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Studio (C#, VB.net.Net 4.0, ASP), Nexus Query Chameleon, Teradata, Microsoft Office Suite VBA, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project
