As a young professional focused on disaster management, sustainability, and climate change adaptation, I bring a robust skill set in multitasking, teamwork, problem-solving, and organization to every project I undertake. My dedication paves the way for a more resilient future, which is evident through my experience working with diverse communities to promote sustainable practices.I hold a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from Panjab University, where I was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence, and a Bachelor\'s degree in Geography Hons. from Delhi University. My educational background has equipped me with a deep understanding of environmental challenges and the strategies needed to address them.Currently, I am a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, working on the \"GoAL: Gender-oriented Adaptive Transformation Cross-Learning for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Resilience among India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Japan\" project. Here, I conduct need assessments, organize training sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop frameworks that capture community experiences related to climate change and disaster risk reduction.My previous roles include Assistant Engineer at Survey of India, Freelancer Lecturer at Post Graduate Government College, Chandigarh, and various internships focused on disaster management, sustainable development, and community resilience. Notably, I led the \'Pond Rejuvenation Project\' at Pragya, Gurgaon, implementing sustainable strategies to restore ponds and developing a leadership training module for persons with disabilities.My professional training includes courses in first aid, climate change adaptation, incident response systems, and public relations, which have honed my technical and behavioral skills.I am passionate about disaster management, climate resilience, climate change adaptation, community-based disaster risk management, and community empowerment.
