ABOUT MONTGOMERY WOOD
My Name is Montgomery Wood, and I am from Berwyn, Pennsylvania. I am a Senior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am majoring in Business Management at the Haslam College of Business with a collateral in Supply Chain Management. Throughout my 3 years at college, I showed reliability to my classmates and professors by always being on time and being ready to learn and engage in class. In addition, during the summers of the first two years, I have been given the opportunity to teach kids aged 8-13 tennis for 8 weeks. This has allowed me to showcase my leadership on and off the court by directly working with the kids and the other coaches and leading them to success in becoming better players. I also demonstrate good management through this by managing the kids all day and helping them become players. During the summer of my Junior year I started as a supply chain intern with Day & Zimmermann. I am currently working part time while in school. I have been able to learn many new skills and showcase my ability to adapt and problem solve while working on many projects that deal with procurement of many products. After college, I plan on attending law school to further improve my education and be able to gain more knowledge.
