About Montel Yancy
Montel Yancy has studied Music and English at Tufts University. Certain projects that he has participated in include theater and performance of his own spoken word pieces at his campus, such as performing in two plays (one his sophomore year in Hamlet: the Hip Hopera and the other his senior year in Welcome To Arroyo’s written by playwright Kristoffer Diaz). His talents are not limited to acting, though, as he has been asked to open for spoken word artists Phil Kaye and Kelly Tsai. Passionate about music, he aims to to talk about urban music in a scholastic manner, teaching people who are willing to listen about the message and power of music and the art of crafting words. He would be a great candidate for the position simply because he does not give up, he works well under pressure, and he is adaptable and quick on his feet when the time is needed to complete a task.
