About Monte Bridgewater
As the Director of Safety & Health for the Southern California Region, Monte manages the Hensel Phelps Safety and Health Accident Program and Risk Management and Loss Control Program. This includes the management of general and automobile liability, worker’s compensation, and all medical claims. He participates in pre-job planning conferences to establish safety plans for all new contracts and represents Hensel Phelps in all dealings with Cal/OSHA and other governing bodies. Monte conducts periodic safety inspections of each job site in the region, including both trade partner operations and Hensel Phelps self-work, using Hensel Phelps safety program criteria and focusing more on risk than compliance.
