ABOUT MONTANA CROW
I became a Veterans disability attorney because I believe that those who served our country should never have to fight alone for the benefits they earned. Coming from a family of Veterans, I grew up with a deep appreciation for the sacrifices service members make—and the challenges they often face when navigating the VA system. That experience drives my work every day as I represent Veterans in their disability claims and appeals. My path to Berry Law started with a passion for advocacy and public service. While earning my undergraduate degree at Iowa State University, I served as Student Government Director of Government Affairs and worked on policy reform related to mental health and sexual assault. Later, I served as a government affairs intern at both the state and federal levels, including the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington, D.C. Those experiences gave me first-hand insight into how bureaucracies operate and, more importantly, how to cut through red tape. Today, I use those same skills to fight for Veterans against one of the most complex bureaucracies—the Department of Veterans Affairs. Since joining Berry Law, I’ve represented hundreds of Veterans and secured significant victories at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. My work has led to remands and corrected errors in cases involving PTSD, depression, radiculopathy, heart disease, and other serious conditions. Every win matters because behind each case is a Veteran who has sacrificed for this country and deserves justice. I’m proud of the trust Veterans place in me, and I make it a priority to build strong client relationships. Listening to their stories is as important as crafting legal arguments—it’s what makes the advocacy personal. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my nephews, reading, traveling, and photography. I’m also a loyal supporter of Iowa State athletics—you’ll often find me cheering on the Cyclones.
