Have been working in the field of Corporate Affairs / Public Policy and have a rich experience of over 25 years in the field of public policy, strategy and advocacy in sectors like infrastructure development and later FMCG. Over the years have developed a deep understanding of the regulatory regime and processes at the Centre and States on various sectors. Result oriented, having consistently delivered on key assignments. Started my career with CII, the leading Industry Association in India and then moved to large infrastructure companies like GMR & JSW Steel and now with Pernod Ricard India, the French major in alcoholc drinks. Have worked on large infrastructure projects with strong focus on meeting the deadlines and later at PRI including industry issues. Closely work with the alcobev Industry Association (ISWAI) and drive many projects for the Industry too. Extremely focused on identifying key stakeholders and working with them on strengthening relationships at all levels and promoting visibility. Have developed a strong relationships with stakeholders across diverse sectors which includes policy makers, consultants, Industry associations (global and local), influencers with a strong pool of network on a pan India basis. Have actively engaged and handled crisis management and resolution through well-thought out interventions with various stakeholders. Closely working with global Industry associations like SWA, DISCUS, Spirits Europe on best practices, collaborations etc. Works closely with Indian Embassies & High Commissions abroad and supporting the Intl business development team to develop overseas market. Closely working with EU & Member States in india on market access and other regulatory issues. Worked closely with the various State Governments across the length n breadth of the country at the highest level, alcohol being State subject and built a strong pan India Network. At the Federal level I work closely with key Central Ministries viz Ministry of Finance, CBIC, GST Council, Ministry of Commerce, DGFT, Corp Affairs, Food Safety, Ministry of Health, in driving company n Industry issues.
