ABOUT MONLAM AI
Since our inception in early 2023, Monlam AI has emerged as a pioneer in Tibetan language technology. Our journey began with the development of four machine learning models: machine translation, optical character recognition (OCR), speech-to-text, and text-to-speech. These foundational technologies have revolutionised the community\'s interaction with the Tibetan language and culture.On November 3rd, 2024, we achieved a significant milestone with four successful launches during our flagship event,\"Monlam Manifest.\" These include the Monlam Translate app for seamless translation across text, voice, and images; the Monlam Web Extension for real-time webpage translation; the innovative Nyamrub platform for community collaboration; and the Monlam Keyboard for mobile devices. Our suite of 43+ specialised applications and the widely accessed Monlam Grand Dictionary (with over 18 million iOS accesses) demonstrate our commitment to accessibility and preservation.
