I am a passionate storyteller with two decades of experience in public relations, issue advocacy and corporate communication.As an on-the-record spokesperson, I have worked at the federal and local levels as well as in non-profit and private sectors consistently and successfully leveraging my skills to engage regional and national media on front-facing issues of the day.In my previous roles as the press secretary for Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), formerly as communications director for Cedric Richmond (D-LA) and as a press officer for DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, I consistently delivered optimal results articulating critical information under pressure and tight deadlines. I have pitched and secured feature stories prominently in TechCrunch, Forbes, Fortune, Wired Magazine, Washington Post, Politico, and the New York Times as well as CBS, ABC morning shows and cable shows. My passion for my work paired with my diverse professional background has allowed me to serve as a leader driving effective communication strategies.
