ABOUT MONIQUE S.
Out of high school, I wanted to pursue a career in graphic design. I was my happiest when I was creating. However, it was at University that I discovered the digital advertising and brand marketing world where I could flex my business acumen and interests but also lend my creativity to what I was working on. This passion led me to High Road Communications, a PR shop with a social and digital arm. I\'ve grown up here, starting as a social media and influencer intern to now leading our paid practice at FleishmanHillard HighRoad Canada as an Account Director. I get to work with amazing brands, still applying my creativity to the plans we develop allowing me to look at everything from channels, to ad creative holistically. Today I get to work with our top clients including 3M Canada (overseeing the paid media strategy for their 8 consumer brands), Capital One Canada and Kubota. I am directly responsible for client budgets and managing internal and external teams and I am the day-to-day contact for these clients.I\'m passionate about mentoring and coaching those around me to be well-rounded practitioners. I believe in empowering my team to do the best work for our clients.
