   Directed nationwide strategic operations for the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, overseeing 18 marine sanctuaries and 2 national monuments across the U.S. Led cross-functional initiatives spanning budget execution, infrastructure investment, workforce strategy, interagency coordination, asset management for a diverse portfolio including research vessels and marine autonomous vehicles, and operational risk mitigation. Responsible for aligning organizational priorities with conservation mandates, managing federal property assets, and advancing performance through structured planning and stakeholder engagement. DELIVERED RESULTS:• Strengthened organizational efficiency and workforce well-being by streamlining 46 competing objectives into 5 strategic priorities, improving decision-making speed, reducing burnout, and increasing productivity through optimized resource alignment.• Delivered measurable impact on conservation goals and partner collaboration by executing an ambitious multi-year operational roadmap, accelerating sanctuary expansion timelines, enhancing protected area designations, and institutionalizing joint planning with key stakeholders.• Spearheaded Technology Modernization: Championed the strategic adoption of new technologies to enhance conservation efforts, including the evaluation of clean tech for shore-side infrastructure and the operational integration of marine autonomous vehicles (MAVs) for more efficient, cost-effective sanctuary monitoring and mapping.• Championed Climate-Forward Operations: Architected the strategy to establish the first-ever Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions baseline across the national portfolio of 18 sanctuaries and 2 monuments. This initiative created the data framework for setting carbon reduction targets for vessel and facility operations, directly aligning asset management with federal sustainability mandates and the mission to protect vital blue carbon ecosystems.
