About Monique Spain
Growing up as a \"military brat\" created a lasting effect on my life to this day. Both of my parents were Marines. Connecting with people from all walks of life, building bridges, collaborating with others - these are some of the things I value most in both my professional and personal life. My resiliency and my self motivation through even the hardest changes stem from the way in which I grew up - constantly adapting. Throughout my professional career, I have worked in the federal, private, and non-profit sectors. My experience in real estate taught me important skills such as: negotiation techniques, how to optimally keep track of multiple deadlines, methods to prioritizing competing demands, and how to communicate effectively. Working in the non-profit sector makes me appreciate the value of using my skills to contribute to the greater good. I am always aiming to expand my professional repertoire by learning new skills, stepping outside my comfort zone, and maintaining a strong work ethic.
