ABOUT MONIQUE NGOZI NRI
Monique Ngozi Nri is an experienced, innovative leader. She has a demonstrated history of working in the fields of education and nonprofit services. In her career, she has worked managing a local community center; developing arts programs for women; writing articles on the arts for publication; in local government; running a school of acupuncture, and providing immigration services for students, faculty, and staff. The consistent thread through all of these positions has been a strong desire to help people and improve their quality of life. Monique has the ability to draw out the best in people and prides herself on creating a warm and welcoming environment for her clients and employees. Her skill set includes conflict resolution, leadership, policy analysis, strategic thinking, and the appropriate use of technology. Monique’s mission is to create value in everything she does and every situation that she encounters. She is a founder member of BLMPA. Monique is a voracious reader who enjoys theater, singing, podcasting, music, yoga, and Scrabble. She writes poetry and performs with her husband’s band, Diaspora. She recently completed her MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry and is currently. working on publishing her first book of poetry.
