Born and raised in the beautiful Bahamas, Monique learned early on the importance of community, hard work, and giving back. Monique’s experiences growing up—participating in Girl Scouts, performing arts, sports, and Junior Achievement—shaped Monique’s values and instilled a strong sense of responsibility to serve others. As a young professional model recognized nationally, Monique gained confidence and a passion for achieving her goals while staying grounded. After earning her degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, she built a nearly 20-year career in hospitality, working with world-class, luxury brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Hotel Company, Hyatt Hotels, and Marriott International. Through dedication, resilience, and a desire to create memorable experiences for others, she developed skills that translate seamlessly into her work in real estate today—building relationships, navigating challenges, and striving for excellence. Since moving to Sarasota in 1998, Monique has embraced the Sarasota/Bradenton community as her second “island in the sun.” She has taken part in local leadership programs and supported causes like Junior Achievement, Leadership Sarasota, All Faiths Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity, focusing on creating a better future for the next generation. These experiences have taught her the importance of listening, understanding, and working collaboratively—qualities she brings to every client relationship. Now, as a real estate professional, Monique is honored to help individuals and families find a place they can call home. She approaches every client with care, using her local knowledge and commitment to detail to guide them through what can feel like an overwhelming process. With a background that combines professionalism, community involvement, and resourcefulness, Monique is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals. She is not above relaxing and enjoying herself and seeks solace in sun and fun, golfing, volleyball, exploring the USA, traveling abroad, or just cooking and chilling with friends and family. Above all, Monique is proud to be a mother and a mentor, finding joy in inspiring her daughter and others to dream big and work hard. She looks forward to continuing to serve her community and making a positive difference through her work and future aspirations.
