Serve as the organizational expert to advance, support, and promote inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and anti-racism goals in staffing, policies, procedures, and business and artistic practices.• Build strategies, policies, processes, and practices to foster organizational change, working with organizational leadership and management. • Serve as liaison to the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Anti-Racism Committee of the Board of Trustees.• Develop, deliver, and facilitate regular EDIA training, learning tools, and discussions for staff, artists, trustees, volunteers, and audiences to build and sustain fluency in Trinity Rep’s core values. • Oversee and manage all staff culture and training events.• Manage the annual organizational culture budget for events, catering, facilitators, and other expenses. • Participate in new staff onboarding.• Work closely with staff across the organization to provide resources.• Serve as an advisor to the Artistic Director, artists, and staff for season planning and productions. Regularly support artists in the rehearsal room including building community agreements for each play. • Collaborate with the Senior Management leadership team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment and pathways to belonging for staff, trustees, artists, audiences, and community stakeholders.• Collaborate regularly and effectively with the Director of Finance and Administration to promote and maintain equitable recruitment and hiring practices and collaborate in managing priorities and organizational culture tasks assigned to the Human Resources Administrator.• Envision and implement annual affinity nights depending on the plays in each season. • Participate in multiple Board Committee spaces including: EDIA, Governance, Human Resources, and Strategic Planning. • Support employee resource groups that foster conversation about workplace issues.• Foster a sense of cohesion and belonging across the organization.
