About Monika Nikolova

Bulgaria is where I am born and raised but America is the country that is giving me the opportunity to grow through my education and experience. Being a foreigner has made me extremely hard-working, determined, and motivated to achieve my goals. My first sales and marketing position as a Membership Director in LA Fitness was the beginning of my growth in the business field. During that period of time, I was consistently achieving sales quotas and creating innovative marketing plans. I had to leave this full-time position to obtain an Associate\'s Degree in Business Administration in Anne Arundel Community College. My retail sales position in Victoria\'s Secret helped me gain more experience with sales and customer service. I believe that my most recent job position as a Club Manager in Maximum Fitness 24/7 has made me even more confident in my marketing and sales skills while also gaining managerial experience. Working in the fitness industry has made me passionate about health, exercise, and nutrition. I enjoy helping others with their fitness journey because I truly believe that everyone needs to be aware how important it is to stay active. In May 2022 I have obtained a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Marketing in Robert H. Smith School of Business. Besides numerous Marketing courses, I’ve also taken courses such as Finance, Business Law, Economics, Strategic Management, and Supply-chain Management which have made me knowledgeable in variety of business fields. Additionally, I speak four languages from native to intermediate level: Bulgarian, English, Macedonian, and Serbian.
